Why You Should Book Family Photos
Oh, The Excuses
Im sure you can think of many reasons why you don’t want to book family photos just yet. It’s hard to get everyone together, It’s hard to coordinate outfits for everyone, your highlights need touch ups, you need to lose 10 pounds, you can just take them on your phone, and you just don’t have time!
All of those reasons make complete sense, as I too have used them for myself! However, family memories are precious, and time goes so fast, especially when you have little ones. Sometimes you just need an EXCUSE to why you NEED family photos SOON!
Here are my top five reasons why you should book annual family photos!
Document Memories
Time flies, and sadly you won’t remember all the details, and young children definitely won’t remember. Don’t you want to remember?! Families are always growing and changing; little ones are born, siblings are added, children grow up, get married, etc. Family photos will help you preserve those moments. Your kids will always love looking at these photos, to see how they (and you) have changed over the years.
Get Everyone In The Shot
And not just one shot, MANY shots! Over the years, your kids will want to see you, with them, in photos. These photographs will be gifts to your children when they are adults. They will cherish these memories, and will love looking back on the photos. It’s a lovely keepsake to pass on to your children, grand children, and even great grand children! Life is fragile, so make sure you make the time to get everyone in the shot!
A Personal Gift To Share With Extended Family
Of COURSE grandma wants an updated family photo every year, of her grandkids, and of her child’s family. Family photos make wonderful gifts to give to your parents, and other extended family! Don’t worry, I will be sure to capture the classic, “everyone look at the camera and smile” photo just for them, along with individual portraits of the kids.
Family Photos Are FUN!
Of course your dread having family photos done, but I can promise you, we will have fun. I make it as painless as possible, and more of a memorable experience. An hour of no phone, and just being present with your family all while laughing, snuggling, and playing!
