Magic City | Sense of Wonder Workshop Night One

This past weekend I was in South Beach Miami at what I can only explain as a life changing experience. Why was it life changing? Because not only did Brooke Logue Photography and her team (Tonya, Steve and Pete) teach us about the obvious, how to take great images but they also taught us how to capture the soul of a child, how to connect with them, how to create a reoccurring feeling for parents (apperception) when they see an image you captured of their child and how to reconnect with your imagination. Never did I think I would go to a photography workshop and learn about Philosophy or Psychology but we did and not only did I leave a better photographer but I left awakened and renewed. I've been to about 18 workshops in the past 2 or 3 years and this by far HANDS DOWN was THE BEST workshop I have been to. I am so exited to see where my creativity will go from here and to see how my images will evolve. " ~ Suzanne

Of course we have loads of technical training, but the most important area that we talk about is about how to think, feel and be real... and how that will affect your photography and hopefully your life. We try to build a sense of community and creativity and I think I am safe to say that everyone including the instructors have been blown away by the times we have shared and the images created." ~Pete Collins
"You have NO idea how much I have taken away from your workshop - on so many levels. Philosophically, psychologically, spiritually, emotionally and then of course editing and composition. I really scrutinized each of my images and kept the 4 of your voices in the back of my head when choosing which images to edit and deciding how to crop them. It was amazing looking at my images with new, fresh eyes. Lastly, I am so glad I chose to stay the first day for the tech class with Steve and Pete. I really believe it made all the difference in my images. I really didn't need to do much editing when I got home hence the reason I've knocked so many images from the workshop out so fast in the few hours I've been able to work around the family.
A million thank yous are not enough to you and the team of amazing artists you have assembled. I am over the moon I made the investment in your workshop and have no qualms about paying to attend a future one. ~Anonymous

To say it was an amazing opportunity does not even closely describe how we felt after leaving and now as we see all the amazing images from so many talented photographers coming in.
