It’s Real Life

When I look back on the early baby and childhood years with my children, It’s so hard to remember a lot of it. The little details, the small interactions, the funny things they said, the traditions we had. Through photographs, my memory is evoked and I am brought back to that time. I am so grateful for the moments captured, especially the ones with me in them, in our home, in our routine, in our authenticity.

It may take until your children are in their 20’s to 30’s to show interest in their upbringing, but trust me, they will one day ask you about it. Imagine sitting around a table with your adult children, with many printed photographs scattered around the tabletop. Your children are laughing and passing them around. “Remember when dad used to…….” or “Look, it’s that lovey you used to carry everywhere….’’ or “Mom, look how used to…..”. or “Remember that corner of the couch we used to snuggle on…..”. These moments are literally priceless.
